Dr. Anthony Rodriguez, PT, DPT, CSCS
Doctor Rodriguez grew up fascinated with the world of Bodybuilding and American Football, so in an attempt to pursue a career in one of those respective fields, he completed his college studies in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine. However, while completing his bachelor's degree, Doctor Rodriguez was tasked to complete an internship at a local physical therapy clinic, where he instantly fell in love with the impact one can provide to those in need within the exercise field he grew up loving so much. Doctor Rodriguez obtained his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and Fitness Technologies from Keiser University (2019) and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St Augustine (2022). Doctor Rodriguez has worked with various individuals and within multiple specialties, such as professional or recreational sports, neurological disorders, vestibular disorders, orthopedic conditions, and cardiopulmonary dysfunctions within an outpatient and inpatient setting. Doctor Rodriguez loves forming long-lasting bonds with his patients, promoting a fun and friendly environment, and is easy to joke around with. Whenever Doctor Rodriguez is not working, he is immersed in bodybuilding, with aspirations of becoming a professional. Doctor Rodriguez's lifelong goal is to open up an athletic facility with a full-fledged gym, physical therapy, sports training, diagnostic imaging, functional medicine store, heath-focused restaurant, and more.
Dr. Leonardo Mendoza, PT, DPT, CSCS
Doctor Mendoza grew up as a very active individual eventually discovering the world of Parkour. Doctor Mendoza practiced Parkour for 8 years and was involved in numerous Parkour communities. Unfortunately, he faced a knee injury that required extensive physical therapy. After much hard work in physical therapy, he not only recovered fully but emerged stronger and continued his pursuit of the art of motion. He even had the opportunity to instruct law enforcement officers and enhance their ability to apprehend suspects. He was so deeply influenced by the process and results of his rehabilitation as well as fascinated by the idea of helping people achieve their optimal physical state, that he decided to become a doctor of physical therapy. Doctor Mendoza obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from FIU and continued to pursue his doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine. He has diverse experience in the fields of orthopedic and neurological physical therapy, treating a multitude of conditions from major joint injuries to complicated vestibular disorders. He has worked with a variety of athletes at various levels ranging from recreational to elite. Doctor Mendoza immerses himself in his work and ensures his sessions are not only efficient and beneficial but also entertaining. Doctor Mendoza is an avid rock climber, so rock-climbing clients have a special place in his heart. Doctor Mendoza aspires to take a trip to Yosemite National Park and climb The Nose of El Capitan.
